Serving traditional Thai and sushi in Atlanta, GA. Rain Thai and Sushi Bar was founded by a couple of restaurateurs. These individuals had many years of restaurants experience in Thailand. Ranging from 5 stars hotel chefs to an individual who was raised on a farm that had mastered many natural ingredients at a young age.

Rain restaurant is currently managed by Noy Mey, Who graduated from Johnson & Wales University Culinary Arts School. After graduation, Noy and her husband Sokkim who graduated from Rhode Island College went on to have their own Thai restaurant in Providence Rhode Island Called Thai Star Restaurant. The restaurant was featured in Providence Journal as well as The Rhode Island Monthly Magazine. The couple brought along their specialties with a North Eastern touch to Atlanta.
